These terms cover your use of Bestimate. By creating an account or playing, you agree to them.

The game

Bestimate is provided as-is, for entertainment purposes. We aim to keep it running reliably but don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. This is a small, independently operated service, not a commercial platform with uptime guarantees.

Pricing

Bestimate is currently free to play. We may introduce paid features, subscriptions, or other paid offerings in the future. If we do, we'll update these terms to let you know before any change takes effect.

Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• One account per person. Don't create multiple accounts to manipulate leaderboards or matchmaking.
• You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.

Acceptable use

Don't:

• Use bots, scripts, or automation to play or submit scores
• Exploit bugs to gain an unfair advantage rather than reporting them
• Use offensive or impersonating names on the leaderboard
• Attempt to disrupt the service (e.g. excessive automated requests)

We reserve the right to remove leaderboard entries or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Content

Questions and answers in Bestimate are curated from publicly available factual sources. If you spot an error in a question or answer, let us know as we'd genuinely like to fix it.

No warranty

Bestimate is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the game will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Bestimate. This is a free, independently run game, please use it accordingly.

Changes

We may update these terms as the game evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. Meaningful changes will update the date at the top of this page.

Termination

You can stop playing and request account deletion at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.
